Validation of the license key fails in setup

Question / Problem

When I run the setup, an error message appears stating that the validity of the license key could not be verified.

How can I solve this problem?

Answer / Solution

Your license must be checked online for validity during installation. For these and other functions that require a connection to our server, it is necessary that your server supports TLS ciphers that are currently considered secure.

The following ciphers are currently supported by our server:

TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
TLS_ECDHE_ECDSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
TLS_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
TLS_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256
TLS_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384
TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256
TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256
TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384

Please make sure that at least one is also supported by your server.

Alternatively, you can download an offline installer for the installation from our customer area at https://customers.jam-software.com.

Please note that other functionality such as checking for new versions, which must connect to our server, will still not work.
