Question / Problem

I have configured a softphone in the Fritz!Box and added it to SmartCallMonitor, but there is no line shown in the "Switchboard" view.

Answer / Solution

  • If the Fritz!Box is accessed by SmartCallMonitor through a different network (f.ex if the connection is routed through a firewall), the softphone must be configured accordingly. Please check in the Fritz!Box settings, whether in "Telephony->Telephony Devices->[Your Softphone Name]->Login Data" the option "Allow login from the internet" is checked.
  • In some cases the Fritz!Box needs a restart for the softphone to be accessible. Please try to restart the Fritz!Box and as soon as it is ready, restart your computer.
