file system cant be used / emails wont be saved to file system archive

Question / Problem

My Exchange Server Toolbox rules that use the file system cause errors and emails are not being saved in my file system archive

Answer / Solution

This problem is usually caused by the user lacking permissions. You can give the user which runs the Exchange Server Toolbox Service access rights to the folders or you can reinstall the service and create a new user.
