Right to use software

Question / Problem

What are the main differences between a perpetual license and a subscription?

Answer / Solution

A perpetual license enables the continued use of the software. It includes 12 months of free maintenance. During this period, you will receive free updates and support.

After every maintenance period, you can choose to renew your maintenance for 12 months at a reduced price (within the first 3 months of expiry) to maintain the above benefits.

Tip: To avoid missing a renewal, you can also activate the automatic renewal option.

A subscription provides access to the software, including updates and support, for the duration of the subscription. Once the subscription is cancelled and has expired, the software can no longer be used.

A subscription can be cancelled at any time, but you will retain access to the software for the paid duration.
